Ike and Cheryl Ride Two Up |

June 26, 2011 - It has been 3 years since Ike has been riding a motorbike and finally is comfortable enough to take on a passenger. The first opportunity presented itself in the form of the 8th Annual Ride For Kids motorcycle run hosted by Cheryl's work. Having purchased new boots and a helmet the day prior may also have had something to do with it. We went out to an empty parking lot and did some practice runs for about an hour. |
It did not take long for us to get used to it. Cheryl has ridden before so that helped. Only challenge is slow right turns. Practice will take care of that. The run itself was great and there were no problems. We both had a great time. Ike is excited about the prospect of having Cheryl along on rides to bike nights and meets.  Goldwing." Perhaps a brand new motorcycle for Ike is in the works or even her own motorcycle. Who knows. |
